# Docker Hub Intro

StackOS Uses Docker Hub to host docker images.  You are able to use both public images and private images.

## Private Docker Hub Images

Private Docker Hub Images may be downloaded by supplying your username and password.  If you require addtiional privacy, simply create an extra user at Docker Hub only for use with StackOS.

When you configure your application on StackOS, supply the authentication information in the following area:
